Today In Country Music: Toby Keith Inducted Into The Country Music Hall Of Fame

Going back to October of 2024 - just last year, where Toby Keith was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Toby died in February of that year after a battle with stomach cancer, just three days after voting concluded for the 2024 Hall of Fame inductees.
His wife Tricia Covel saying, “He didn’t get the chance to hear the news that he had been inducted"
During this ceremony, Keith’s plaque was unveiled, the inductees’ bronze plaques were placed in the Rotunda, and several tribute performances were held, including
Eric Church’s emotional rendition of “Don’t Let the Old Man In” and Blake Shelton’s medley of “I Love This Bar” and “Red Solo Cup"
