Going back to 2010 – Willie Nelson got busted by border patrol in Sierra Blanca, Texas for possession of ganja.

This town was actually notorious for busting celebrities during the security checkpoint; they search specifically for drugs, and when Willie’s tour bus was stopped, agents smelled marijuana.

Willie was briefly detained for 6oz of weed, released on a $2,500 bail, and Attorney Kit Bramblett had a small moment of fame when he suggested that Willie perform “Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain” for the courtroom instead of going to jail. Rapper Snoop Dogg also had a few words to say about the border patrol agents who arrested Willie, careful, there is some language here.

The funny part is that Snoop Dogg was also busted at that same security checkpoint a few years later...
