From American Idol contestant to country superstar, let's go back to 2023, when Scotty McCreery was invited by Garth Brooks to join the Grand Ole Opry.
Getting an invitation to join the Opry is a massive honor; it shows dedication to country music’s legacy and is only awarded to artists whose careers are stable, respected, and influential. And for Scotty, this meant his mark in country music would live on.
Scotty McCreery brought us some of our favorite lyrical stories, “Five More Minutes” was #1 on country airplay in 2019 and was actually debuted before release on the Opry stage, while “This Is It” became one of the most popular wedding songs of 2018…
