Mornings with KP

Catch Mornings with KP on Rooster 101.9, weekday mornings from 6–10 AM EST! Download the Rooster 101 app in the App Store and listen LIVE! Proudly sponsored by Burger King.

Equal parts country girl and beach bum, KP is here to kick-start your day with humor, hot topics, and country music news!

Kristin "KP" Penrose is a radio personality and morning show producer originally from the "Great Lakes State" of Michigan. But no worries, she feels right at home with her toes in the sand (mudslide in hand) and a day spent on the water in Cayman. Her passion for country music runs deep, rooted in a childhood filled with family jam sessions that sparked a lifelong love of performing, singing, and guitar playing. When she's not behind the mic, she loves camping, concerts, and refinishing antique furniture.
