A stunning route consisting of tropical flora, charming homes flawlessly landscaped and magnificent views of the sea. The race is entering its 19th year and has built up a reputation of an intimate, warm, friendly and well organised event.

The Walkers Cayman Islands Marathon attracts hundreds of competitors from both home and abroad. The race route is IAAF-sanctioned and is flat and fast, ensuring ideal running conditions. Runners can use this race as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon.
The event consists of a full marathon, half marathon, wheelchair half marathon, 4-person relay and a Kids Fun Run. There is also a virtual option for the full and half marathon events.
There is also a great turnout of support who cheer the competitors along every step of the way. It's a fun and sociable way to spend a morning as a spectator or runner!
Route: The race starts and ends in George Town (the capital) on Harbour Drive along the waterfront in front of Sharkeez Restaurant. The race route takes runners along South Church Street, South Sound, Prospect Point Drive, Walkers Road and back into central George Town.
