John Garabo grew up in New York City, where he began his radio career at the age of 17. His job producing a top New York Morning Show lead to an opportunity to work with Dr. Ruth Westheimer on her national radio program.
After several years with NBC, hosting Morning Shows in Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, Hartford, and Riverside/San Bernardino, John found his home at CBS. John has consistently been ranked among top performers in the markets he has worked. His personable style and family-friendly approach has always been a winning combination for Garabo.
John arrived in Fresno in April 2000 and has been waking up Central California listeners on 93.7 KISS Country with his own brand of humour and has successfully been a mass-appeal show since 2009.
John is a single dad, raising two children, Ashley age 16 and Nolan age 11. While John lives her in Cayman, the Garabo family resides in Clovis with their faithful dogs Pepper and Bailey and their loveable cats, Angel, Midnight, and Tiger. When John isn't in front of the microphone, he enjoys spending time with his kids, getting involved in the community, gardening, playing video games and playing the piano. This fall John celebrates his 26th year in broadcasting!
